"there is nothing more powerful than the spoken truth"

Professor Jordan Peterson said that to Gaad Saad in a youtube video.

His larger sentence included a Belief statement...

"The fundamental axiom of Western Civilization is that there is nothing more powerful than spoken truth. And I believe that. I firmly believe that!" Well he also wrote it, so....

He spoke about Logos (but didn't explicitly mention the animus).

On the power of spoken truth: we will carefully consider and veracity-check our words (at times). We don't usually make claims to know the truth and so I guess any statement of truth is powerful (if it is not a truism).

Right now I am remembering my chosen words, the times I paused before speaking and then spoke. And someone got hurt. Belief statements invoke my rubric.
